Betreff: Important Notice: Upcoming Ventilation and Pressure Control Tests
in the Cleanroom

 

Dear colleagues,

 

I have just received the following information regarding upcoming tests
related to the pressure control system in the cleanroom and the optics labs.
Please take note of the planned activities:

 

Friday, 29 November 2025, between 8:00-10:00

Short shutdowns of the control system in several cleanroom areas (approx. 5
zones).

Each zone will be switched off for around 2 minutes.

 

Monday, 8 December 2025 (during the day)

Closure of the fresh air for the Optics Laboratory levels (2nd and 3rd
floors).

This means no supply or exhaust air will be available-only recirculation
will remain active.

The duration is expected to be 2-4 hours.

 

Please be aware that no work with chemicals should be carried out during
these times, particularly on 8 December, as there will be no air exchange in
the affected areas.

 

Thank you for taking this into account and adjusting your schedules
accordingly.
