[MEI-L] Mei.measure. at complete; The Myth of Easy Time Signature Checking

I can't comment directly on the question, since I know nothing about
Mei.measure, and that's not likely to change for a long time: I've had
almost no time to spend on MEI for the last six months (and I expect
the same for the next six months). But I've thought a lot about the
general problem of looking for consistency between the actual durations
of measures and what the time signature says the duration should be.
Attached is a draft of a paper on the subject. It's in very rough
shape, and I have no more time for it than for MEI; but I think it
might be helpful anyway. (But please don't forward it outside of the
MEI group.)
