Dear community,

I discovered several conflicts between the latest schema version (
mei-CMN.rng <https://music-encoding.org/downloads/latest-release/>) and
Guidelines 3.0.0.

   - For instance, trying to encode key.sig the Guidelines says a valid
value would be "3f" (screenshot <http://prntscr.com/gggzlx>: p.100). The
   editor, however, gives an error:

value of attribute "key.sig" is invalid; token "3f" invalid; must be a
> string matching the regular expression
> "[a-g][0-9](s|f|ss|x|ff|xs|sx|ts|tf|n|nf|ns|su|sd|fu|fd|nu|nd|1qf|3qf|1qs|3qs)"

So, the expected value should look like "a0s", for instance. However,
Verovio renders the value "3f".

   - Another example: encoding the @authURI of <persName>, <corpName>, etc.
   (screenshot <http://prntscr.com/ggh0mp>: p. 254). The attribute name
that the editor accepts is @auth.uri.

   - Encoded @slur (screenshot <http://prntscr.com/ggh1xz>: p.119) is not
being rendered by the Web version
   <https://www.verovio.org/mei-viewer.xhtml?file=examples/downloads/Hummel_Concerto_for_trumpet.mei>
of Verovio. It works only with <slur> and only with referencing to an id.
   - etc.

I am using Oxygen Editor, version 18.1. Maybe there would be any
suggestions for using another editor or schema?

best regards!
