[MEI-L] @wordpos of monosyllabic words

Dear list,

I'm wondering about the correct @wordpos in monosyllabic words:

In my particular case, I have monosyllabic words with a @con="u" because it
should be sung melismatic.

But Verovio treat the connector differently depending on the word position:
In the case of @wordpos="i" and @con="u", Verovio draws the underscore into
the next following syllable; with @wordpos="t" and @con="u" it draws the
underscore to the next preceding note.

Is this an issue concerning Verovio or is it semantically preferable
encoding it as a terminal syllable of a word?

Many thanks in advance,

Anna
