[MEI-L] App within verse

Hi,

Is there any particular reason why /app is not allowed within /verse? I
could do:

/app
  /rdg
    /verse
      /syl
  /rdg
    /verse
      /syl

But since the verse is the same in my case, I would instinctively do:

/verse
  /app
    /rdg
      /syl
    /rdg
      /syl
