Dear MEI Members,

The MEI Board is in the process of reviewing whether to continue using Slack as the community management tool or select a different tool. We are considering this because we use the free version of Slack, which has changed their data retention policy to only keeping messages and files from the last 90 days. All messages and files after the last 90 days are hidden and inaccessible to users. The Slack owners can export content from public channels, but any private or direct messages will not be accessible after the last 90 days.

To help us explore potential options we ask for your feedback to this short survey: https://tufts.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9H6ykqknetN5eUC.
You are also welcome to email the MEI Board at mei-board at lists.uni-paderborn.de<mailto:mei-board at lists.uni-paderborn.de> if you’d like to share feedback directly.

Best,
Anna
