We are pleased to announce that this year’s keynote speakers will be Dr. Tim Duguid<https://www.gla.ac.uk/schools/humanities/staff/timduguid/>, lecturer in Digital Humanities and Information Studies at the University of Glasgow and Dr. Estelle Joubert<https://www.dal.ca/faculty/arts/school-of-performing-arts/faculty-staff/our-faculty/musicology/estelle-joubert.html>, Associate Professor in Musicology at the Fountain School of Performing Arts at Dalhousie University.

Conference Program Overview

  *   Pre-conference workshops will be held on Tuesday, May 26 on topics that include An Introduction to Music Encoding, Developing Verovio, Digital Pedagogies, and Working with Metadata. You can register for workshops when you register for the conference.
  *   Wednesday, May 27 and Thursday, May 28 will feature paper presentations and a poster session representing work from a diverse group of U.S. and international scholars, students, librarians, developers, and technologists.
  *   Friday, May 29 will wrap up with a community meeting (open to all attendees), a hackathon, and interest group meetings<https://music-encoding.org/community/interest-groups.html>.

Registration Rates

  *   Early Bird registration through March 20, 2020: $150
  *   Regular registration through May 1, 2020: $180
  *   Late registration through May 25: $220
  *   Students: $40 (Learn more about how you can apply for a bursary<https://music-encoding.org/conference/2020/bursaries/>)
  *   Tufts/Northeastern/MIT Students: $20

Registration includes a light continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and beverages on Wednesday and Thursday. It also includes hor d'oeuvres and drinks at the opening reception on Tuesday. An optional conference dinner on Thursday evening will be available for an additional $45 per person. Coffee and snacks will be available during the pre-conference workshops.
