[MEI-L] Schema version 2012 changed content model for <creation>

Hi Peter,

<creation> now is wrapped in the new element <history>, which does allows <p>, so what you can do is moving the paragraphs up one level, i.e. out of <creation> and into a more general description of the historical context.

Best wishes,
Axel

Emne: [MEI-L] Schema version 2012 changed content model for <creation>

Dear all,

the content model of <creation> has changed with the new schema version 2012 allowing only text, <date> and <geogName>.
In our 2010-05 files I find examples such as:
<creation>
Februar 1818</date>.</p> </creation> That said, I'd have to throw away the information about paragraphs as well as about persnames if I was to transform this element to the new schema. While the description for <creation> says it should be in "narrative form" I can't imagine why the content model should be that strict?!
I'd favor as a content model probably just p+

Comments?
All the best
Peter
