Call for Participants: OAEI 2026 Campaign co-organized with the 21st International Workshop on Ontology Matching
https://oaei.ontologymatching.org/2026/
----------------------------------

The Ontology Alignment Evaluation Initiative (OAEI) invites researchers, developers, and practitioners to take part in its 2026 Campaign. Since 2004, OAEI has been an international effort to evaluate ontology matching technologies. We welcome both seasoned participants and newcomers to join us in this year's evaluation.

Why Participate?
- Comprehensive Benchmarking: Test your system against a wide variety of real-world and synthetic matching tasks. Gain objective, comparable results that highlight your system's strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Diverse and Challenging Tracks: The 2026 campaign offers an expanded set of tracks that reflect current research trends and application needs: bio-medical ontology matching (with a focus on machine learning-based approaches); complex ontology matching; link discovery, as well as general TBox/schema matching and instance/schema matching.
- Visibility and Publication: Participants are expected to submit a system paper for the proceedings of the 21st Ontology Matching Workshop, co-located with ISWC 2026. These papers are not peer-reviewed but are reviewed by OAEI organizers, ensuring a record of your participation and a description of your system.

How to Participate
- Register Your Tool: Complete the mandatory registration form (requires a Google account and a valid email) by August 7th.
- Prepare and Wrap Your System: Follow the detailed wrapping and submission instructions provided on the OAEI 2026 website for the tracks you wish to enter.
- Test and Submit: We strongly encourage you to test your system early during the execution phase to identify and resolve any issues. Submit your tool and alignments via the appropriate forms by the stated deadlines.
- Prepare Your Paper: Write a paper (up to 8 pages using the CEUR template).

Key Dates (Tentative)
- June 30 (extended to July 7): Preliminary datasets are released.
- July 31 (extended to August 7): Preparation phase ends; final datasets are made available. Mandatory tool registration closes.
- August 31: Execution phase ends; final versions of tools are due (via the submission form for most tracks).
- September 22: Alignment submission deadline (only for tools requiring substantial hardware or software resources).
- September 30: Evaluation phase ends; results are published.
- October 14: Preliminary version of system papers due.
