# Special Issue: "Quality in Software Architecture"

Software architecture is the backbone of every software system, 
influencing its performance, reliability, maintainability, and more. 
This special issue aims to explore the multifaceted concept of quality 
in software architecture, focusing on quantifiable models, metrics, and 
assurance techniques that elevate software architecture to new heights.

# Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

- Quantifiable models and metrics for Software Architecture (SA) quality
- Balancing and trade-offs among different quality properties in SA
- Refactoring and evolution of SA to improve quality
- Automated optimization of SA with respect to quality attributes
- Evaluating the quality of machine learning-based SA
- Requirements engineering for SA quality assurance
- Graphical visualization of quality properties within SA
- User studies on quality aspects and quality assurance practices in SA
- Empirical datasets for benchmarking SA quality assessment techniques
- Measurement techniques for assessing the quality of SA

# Important Dates:

- Submission Open Date: January 1, 2024
- Manuscript Submission Deadline: April 1, 2024
- Notification to Authors (first round): June 1, 2024
- Submission of Revised Papers (second round): July 1, 2024
- Completion of the Review and Revision Process (final notification): 
October 1, 2024
