"New work styles require new ideas: Adapting software processes and human behaviors"

In March 2020, the world was brought to a halt caused by the pandemic. As
highlighted by the UN, the COVID-19 pandemic is far more than a health crisis,
it is affecting societies and economies at their core. Most countries are in
recession, leading not only to just temporarily postponed recruitments and
growth, but also to drastic job cuts. Large number of companies in different
sectors have sent their employees to work from home, with the effects of the
forced remote work yet to be understood. The pandemic has also created the
largest disruption of education systems in history. Immediate development
responses in this crisis must be undertaken with an eye to the future and
development trajectories in the long-term have to be considered. In response, a
rapidly growing body of research is exploring and overcoming many of these
challenges.
