[asv-vorstand] Urgent! - Overdue refund for Inter-Cultural Week 2024 -Africa

Dear Finanze Referentin/ Finance Office,

I hope this second email from me today finds you well. I am writing to 
you with regards to an expenditure item from Inter-Cultural Week that I 
have still not received reimbursement for.
During Inter-Cultural Week last year 2024, the African Students Group or 
Afrikanische Studierende Gemeinde ordered and paid for a 3D video of 
Africa. We specifically requested the company to create the impression 
that one was flying over Africa. We successfully negotiated the price 
down from 600 euro to 300 euro and paid the company after the delivered 
the product.

We then submitted all the necessary documentation for ICW (see attached) 
but unfortunately were only refunded in part for ICW. See below.

I have been in communication with the ASV about this for months now and 
am now escalating the issue to the ASTA finance office. As you know, we 
in the ASG are just students and the money that we use for these 
activities comes out of our own pockets as contributions. We cannot 
afford to let 300 euros just disappear.

Please advise on how we can get our refund. I am happy to provide more 
information or meet with you if necessary. I am also happy to meet with 
the rest of the ASTA or anyone else if need be.

I have copied here the ASV president and the newly elected organising 
secretary of the ASG.

I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
