[asv-vorstand] Request for Buddy Assignment and Official Confirmation of Late Arrival Due to Visa Appointment for Winter Semester 2024

Dear ASV,

I hope this email finds you well.

I am writing to request assistance with a few matters related to my
enrollment in the Winter Semester 2024/25 at Paderborn University:

   1.

   *Buddy Program Request*: I would like to request an assignment to the
   university’s Buddy Program, if available, to help me transition smoothly
   into university life and academics as an international student.
   2.

   *Visa Appointment and Late Arrival*: Unfortunately, my visa appointment
   is scheduled for October 14, 2024, which means I may not be able to arrive
   in Germany by the semester start date of October 7, 2024.

   In this regard, I kindly request:
   - *Permission to attend lectures online* from October 7 until my visa is
      approved and I can travel to Germany.
      - *An official confirmation of the extension for late arrival*, which
      I will need to present at my visa appointment at the embassy. This
      confirmation is crucial for my visa application process.
   3.

   *Receiving University Account Credentials*: I understand that students
   already residing in Germany receive their university account credentials
   via post. Since I am currently in India and will only arrive once my visa
   is approved, could you please guide me on how I can receive my credentials
   and any other important documents remotely?

I have attached my enrollment certificate. I would greatly appreciate your
prompt response, particularly regarding the official confirmation for my
late arrival, as it is required for my visa appointment.
