Dear Mr. Bhate,

please contact the Hausmeister so he can check your apartment regarding the insects and the mattress.
He should also check the ventilation in your bathroom.

Please go to his office and show him your apartment.
Regarding the repair of your door lock please contact also the Hausmeister.

You can park your bike in the designated spaces. We do not have alternative space in the house.
We plan to remove scrap bicycles in September when the moving out process starts. After that we hope to have more parking space available.

Dear Mr. Frank,

I believe there may have been a misunderstanding regarding my previous email, where I clearly stated: "If anyone wants to inspect the room, please make sure that I am present in the room. I do not authorize anybody to enter my room in my absence." I noticed that the door lock was fixed today without my presence. Could you please explain why my request was not followed, or why I was not contacted beforehand?

Additionally, I received a very used mattress, which has caused me to develop rashes. This is quite concerning, considering the level of student care that was promised.

In response to your email stating, "The insects you pictured are silverfish. These insects do not bite. They need a warm and humid environment and feed on sugar and skin residues. Please try to clean your apartment regularly and keep the humidity low through ventilation," I find this problematic. My doctor has provided a certificate indicating health issues caused by insects found in my home, suggesting that the problem is more serious than just a matter of cleaning. Additionally, there is no ventilation in the bathroom, making it challenging to maintain low humidity levels.

Regarding parcel theft, your comment, "The stealing of parcels cannot be stopped by us directly. Please let all your parcels be delivered to a packstation," does not address my situation. I cannot select the packstation option for parcels sent from my home country or from grocery websites. Furthermore, I need your kind guidance on where to park my new bicycle, as my previous two bicycles were stolen from the designated parking area.

Given these issues, I believe that moving me to a better building and apartment would be a suitable resolution.

As I mentioned in my earlier email I am ready to leave the apartment. But I might need just room by next semester. This is already taking toll on every aspect my living here. Please understand I cant stay in this room. I am already done.

Hi Mr. Choi and Mr. Thordsen,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention several ongoing issues in my room at Peter Hille Weg that are severely affecting my health and overall wellbeing.

Firstly, there is a persistent insect infestation coming from the edges of the bathroom door and the area near the dustbin. Despite my efforts to maintain cleanliness and regularly cleaning the room 3-4 times a week, the issue persists. This situation has caused me significant distress, resulting in insect bites that required medical treatment. I have attached a doctor’s note regarding this issue. Furthermore, the ongoing problem has taken a toll on my mental health, leading me to seek psychiatric therapy to cope with my studies and daily life. Despite informing you and the housing staff about these issues in person, they remain unresolved.

Secondly, both of my bicycles have been stolen from the designated parking area, and parcels that cannot be delivered to the packstation are also being stolen. This situation is causing me considerable stress and is impacting my ability to manage my studies and maintain my mental and financial health.

Thirdly, my door lock has been broken since I moved in. Despite informing the Housemaster, the issue has not been addressed. Additionally, I recently discovered that the mattress provided to me is used and burnt on one side. I have attached images of the mattress for your reference.

Given the persistence of these issues and their detrimental effects on my health, I kindly request to be moved to a different room in a different accommodation building starting next semester. I am willing to stay in my current room for the remainder of this semester if necessary, but I urgently need alternative accommodation for the next semester, preferably in a different building than Peter Hille Weg 11<https://www.google.com/maps/search/Peter+Hille+Weg+11?entry=gmail&source=g> and 13. I am open to a 2-person shared room or a private room.

Please let me know what options are available and when an alternative room assignment can be arranged. I am ready to serve the termination notice if required before the start of the next sem upon receiving the confirmation that I might be alloted a room in the different student residence building. Your prompt assistance in resolving this difficult situation would be greatly appreciated, as these issues are significantly impacting my studies and wellbeing.

Attached are a video of the insects in my washroom, and the doctor’s notes regarding my psychiatric therapy and the insect bites.

If anyone wants to inspect the room please make sure that I am present in the room. I do not authorise anybody to enter my room in my absence.
