In ihrer Arbeit untersucht sie materielle Spuren kollektiver Gesten sowie die visuelle Übersetzung von im Körpergedächtnis gespeicherten Bewegungsinformationen. Malerei wird in tragbare Objekte \u2013 PARTs \u2013 genäht, die \u2013 oft von Tänzer*innen \u2013 aktiviert werden und später als skulpturale Überreste zurückbleiben. Zusammen mit Dokumentationsmaterial performativer Interventionen bilden sie in ortsspezifischen Installationen ein materielles Archiv von Körpern in Bewegung.</div><div style="margin: 0cm;"> <o:p></o:p></div><div style="margin: 0cm;"><b>Zur Person:</b><o:p></o:p></div><div style="margin: 0cm;">Nach einem Masterabschluss an der University of the Arts London (Bildhauerei) erhielt <strong>Michaela Zimmer</strong> kürzlich ein Arbeitsstipendium der Stiftung Kulturfonds Bonn sowie Reise- und Aufenthaltsstipendien der Europäischen Union für Frankreich und Spanien und ein Recherchestipendium des Berliner Senats. Tänzer und Musiker der lokalen Theater- und Tanzkompanie Baratza in Vitoria-Gasteiz im Baskenland, Spanien, entwickelten eine performative Intervention zu Einsiedlerkrebsen, die ihre weichen Körperteile in fremden Schalen schützen.</font><br></div><div style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; margin: 0cm;"><br></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
