Dear all,<div><br></div><div>I would just like to add that the interfacing between MEI and VexFlow is achieved through a JavaScript library originally written by Richard Lewis at Goldsmith's, University of London (<a href="https://github.com/ironchicken/MEItoVexFlow" target="_blank">https://github.com/ironchicken/MEItoVexFlow</a>), which has been extended for the project.</div>

You can read the details in the links below. I am printing the documents, too, and can easily send along copies of the report to you. Just let me know if you would like a copy.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Meanwhile the most important developments (for the MEI group, in any case): thanks to Raffaele Viglianti and Andrew Hankinson, we have a nice system that allows us to move smoothly from our original Sibelius and Finale transcriptions to MEI and then to on-screen rendering of musical examples. The aim, as you might recall, is to build a large analytic "thesaurus" of musical types and procedures from our repertory, then coordinate these with proposed reconstructions of missing voice parts in still other pieces.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Follow the links below to see various explanations and demonstrations. The attached set of images shows you just a small bit of what we can do--in this case searching for a particular type of cadence, then displaying the result.</div>
