Als studentische Beschäftigte, die sich bereits vor mehreren Jahren zu einer bundesweiten Tarifbewegung zusammengeschlossen haben, wollen wir – wie Sie und ihr auch – von den Vorzügen des Tarifvertrags der Länder profitieren, vor allem der tariflichen Absicherung an sich. Dass ein Tarifvertrag sich positiv auf die soziale Lage und die Einhaltung von Arbeitnehmerrechten auswirkt, ist hinlänglich bekannt. Dies gilt nicht weniger für studentische Beschäftigte, wie die <a href="https://www.iaw.uni-bremen.de/archiv/mitteilungen/detail?news=90">Studie "Jung, akademisch, prekär" des iaw der Universität Bremen</a> jüngst sichtbar gemacht hat. Doch bisher existiert ein solcher Tarifvertrag nur in Berlin.</span></div><div aria-live="assertive" id="magicdomid29" class="ace-line" style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; color: rgb(72, 83, 101); font-family: RobotoMono; font-size: 15px; font-variant-ligatures: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">Obwohl ein Tarifvertrag für Studentische Beschäftigte (TVStud) dort bereits seit 1980 erfolgreich etabliert werden konnte (und im übrigen offenbar auch nicht dem Exzellenzstatus der Berliner Universitäten entgegensteht), sich in den letzten Jahren sieben Länder per Koalitionsvertrag und zwei weitere sich nachträglich öffentlich zu einer Tarifierung und besseren Arbeitsbedingungen bekannt haben, blockieren die Finanzminister/-innen im Arbeitgeberverband, der Tarifgemeinschaft deutscher Länder (TdL), weiterhin den Abschluss eines Tarifvertrags, und verweisen ihrerseits auf die Wissenschaftsminister/-innen. Zuletzt äußerten sie in der zweiten Verhandlungsrunde am 2./3.
