<p>I would like to direct your attention to the fact that this fall,
two leading conferences come together in one place from <b>September
29 to October 2</b> in <b>Paderborn, Germany</b>: </p>
<p><a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://conf.researchr.org/home/vlhcc-2026">2026 IEEE
Symposium on Human-Centric Computing and Visual Languages
(VL/HCC)</a> and </p>
<p><a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://conf.researchr.org/home/hcse-2026">11th IFIP
International Working Conference on Human-Centered Software
Engineering (HCSE)</a></p>
Why may that be important to <b>you</b>? How can you <b>benefit </b>from
<b>co-locating</b> these two exciting and important events?

<li><b>Maximize your impact:</b> Submit your work to VL/HCC, HCSE,
or even both - and possibly get papers accepted at two
conferences. The more submissions we get, the more papers we can

<li><b>Shared highlights:</b> A mix of joint activities (e.g.

submit papers, contribute your work, and participate (see tracks
and deadlines below)</li>
<li><b>Broaden your network:</b> Meet both communities in one
place. While VL/HCC has a long and successful tradition as an <a

href="https://conferences.computer.org/VLHCC/">IEEE-sponsored</a>
event, HCSE is a bi-annual working conference organized by the <a
moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://ifip-tc13.org/working-groups/working-group-13-2/">IFIP
Working Group 13.2 on Methodology for User-Centred System
Design</a> in those years when there is no <a
moz-do-not-send="true" href="https://interact.ifip-tc13.org/">INTERACT</a>
conference. </li>
<li><b>Reduce traveling and cost:</b> Two events at the cost of
only one trip. Attending both events will allow you to save even
more of your conference budget thanks to a <b>substantial

Innovation Campus Paderborn (SICP)</a>.

combines tradition with high-tech. The heritage of computer pioneer
Heinz Nixdorf has shaped the city, university, and economy. The <a

Nixdorf Museum</a> right next to the SICP is the world\u2019s largest
computer museum. And there is definitely more to see in Paderborn

(with multiple daily connections to/from Munich International
Airport MUC) or by train/car within 2-3 hours from many other
international airports such as Frankfurt FRA, Düsseldorf DUS,
