HCSE is a bi-annual, single-track, working conference organized by
the IFIP Working Group 13.2 on Methodology for User-Centred System
Design <a class="moz-txt-link-rfc2396E"
href="http://ifip-tc13.org/working-groups/working-group-13-2/"
moz-do-not-send="true"><http://ifip-tc13.org/working-groups/working-group-13-2/>
</a>in cooperation with IFIP Working Group 13.5 on Human Error,
Resilience, Reliability, Safety and System Development <a
class="moz-txt-link-rfc2396E"
href="http://ifip-tc13.org/working-groups/working-group-13-5/"
moz-do-not-send="true"><http://ifip-tc13.org/working-groups/working-group-13-5/></a>.
We aim at <span class="moz-txt-star"><span class="moz-txt-tag"></span>bringing
together researchers and practitioners</span><b
class="moz-txt-star"><span class="moz-txt-tag"></span></b>
interested in strengthening the scientific foundations of user
interface design, examining the relationship between software
engineering and human-computer interaction and on how to
strengthen human-centered design as an essential part of software
engineering processes.</p>
<p> In order to allow for participation from anywhere in the world,
HCSE 2020 sessions will run from <b>13:00 h to 17:00 h CET (UTC+1</b>)
only. HCSE 2020 will be held ONLINE as a <b>ZOOM meeting</b>.
Access information will be provided to registered participants.</p>
<p>HCSE 2020 presents <b>3 technical full papers and late breaking
results sessions</b> and a <b>demonstrations and posters
session</b>. Each session has a duration of 90 minutes.
Technical sessions are dedicated to the following themes:</p>
<ul>
<li><b>User-Centred Design Approaches</b></li>
<li><b><b>Model-Based and Model-Driven Approaches</b></b></li>
<li><b><b><b>Software Development Strategies</b></b></b></li>
</ul>
<p>All sessions will contain significant time for discussions and be
chaired by a a session moderator. Please see the <a

The technical program will be accompanied by a <b>virtual social
program</b> to meet and further discuss with the community. The
selected papers have been peer-reviewed and will appear in the
proceedings published by Springer in the <span
class="moz-txt-star">LNCS</span><b class="moz-txt-star"><span
class="moz-txt-tag"></span></b> series. <br>

<p>Participation in HCSE 2020 will be <b>free of charge</b>.
However, <b>registration </b>is mandatory to participate and
obtain the access information. Registration will be open soon. <br>
